Jenni Sands (Candy)Jenni is an experienced performer who brings a great deal of knowledge and enthusiasm to Slayers East. Creator Morgan Davie credits Jenni with giving him the impetus to make the whole series happen in the first place! Jenni was responsible for two Buffy The Vampire Slayer fan events at MegaRolePlaying weekends before Morgan contaced her about taking the part of Candy. Margie Worboys (Cynth)Margie is the youngest regular cast-member. She had not had too much experience before winning the role of Cynth, but she is now in high demand. She is rumoured to have had a bad experience with a horse when she was little, but she never speaks about this. Rachael Worboys (CC)Rachael was only in the first three episodes of the show but her legacy is still keenly felt. As Margie's older sister, she brought an interesting dynamic to the best-friends relationship between Cynth and CC. Her flamboyant style was just right for the sassy Crewdson girl, and Rachael returned to the role of CC as a special guest star in the final series episode "Cinders". Scott Anderson (Zak)Scott is one of the senior members of the cast, ironic given that his character, Zak, is the youngest. Scott's performance has been progressively shaded darker, creating plenty of opportunities to explore a troubled young man whose inner struggles echo the uncertainty in the supernatural world around him. Andrew Salmond (John)Andrew left the series early in Season Two and now lives in London. His deft comic presence made him a fan-favourite, and the subject of dozens of internet fansites. He is perhaps most remembered on set for the wardrobe he himself developed for John Ridgway, which had perhaps its finest moment in the viking outfit he wore in season one's "Cry If I Want To". Blair Rhodes (Brian)Blair joined the regular cast in the middle of Season Two, lending an acerbic wit to his portrayal of Brian. Blair brings a keen intelligence and a method-acting style to the role that has SE fandom surprised and intrigued. |
